apple music → popfeed

turn your apple music data export into plays on your atproto account. everything is parsed in your browser; only the plays are sent, straight to your PDS.

1 · get your export from apple

  1. go to privacy.apple.com and sign in.
  2. choose Request a copy of your data and tick Apple Media Services information.
  3. apple emails you in up to 7 days. download the zip(s).
  4. drop them below. the file that matters is Apple Music - Play History Daily Tracks.csv (or Apple Music Play Activity.csv) inside "Apple Music Activity".

the daily-tracks file only has dates and hours, so plays are spread across the hours listed. the timezone shifts them to the right moment.
